چکیده
Traditionally, river sand was utilized as fine aggregate in concrete manufacturing. However, due to the ongoing extraction of natural sand, its availability has become limited. Construction businesses have begun explore for alternative sustainable resources use aggregate. Manufactured (M- sand), recycled aggregate, crushed granite, rice husk ash, fly and other materials can cause dumpsite environmental contamination. These are viable substitutes Unexpanded perlite is also one such material which be used a replacement Perlite form volcanic glass resulted from cooled lava. Optimization of fully replacement of natural sand by m-sand In high performance concrete with nanosilica
Abstract— In recent days the demand for river sand is increasing due to its lesser availability. Hence the practice of replacing river sand with M-Sand is taking a tremendous growth. It is also inferred from the literature that replacement of normal sand with M-Sand produces no appreciable increase in compressive strength due to the variation in the pore size of concrete at micro level. This pa...
متن کاملThe Behaviour of Concrete by Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate with Copper Slag and Cement with GGBS - An Experimental Study
The replacement of natural resources in the manufacture of cement and sand is the present issue in the present construction scenario. Copper slag and Ground Granulated Blast furnace Slag (GGBS) are industrial by-product materials produced from the process of manufacturing copper and iron. Use of Copper slag and GGBS does not only reduce the cost of construction but also helps to reduce the impa...

Glass is needed in several forms in today’s life. Its life is limited, and after use it is either stored into sharp edged or sent to landfills. As we know glass is non-biodegradable, landfills does not recommend any environment friendly solution. In India as a most developing country, facing shortage of post consumer’s disposal waste site and it’s become very serious problems. Hence, there is s...
متن کاملA Study on Strength of Concrete With Partial Replacement Of Cement With Quarry Dust And Metakaolin
Concrete a composite material made from cement, water, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate. But present researchers are in interest of finding new cement materials by waste materials or waste products produced from industries which are harmful to environment. The present paper deals with partial replacement of cement with quarry dust and metakaolin which are having silica used as admixture for ...
